Inspiring alumnae – Veronika 33, from Austria
Meet our inspiring alumnae Veronika who has been swept away by the Balinese spirituality and the lessons its provided, unexpectedly.
She began her Bali visit in the cultural town of Ubud. There she met a lot of people where topics buzzed on spirituality and healing. Veronica was adamant and told them that she wasn’t into that kind of thing but that all changed after she met Illuh a healer we work with at Escape Haven. After working with Illuh she was moved as it bought back memories and special moments from her past including her dear Grandma. The realizations were so powerful and the feelings that came with it, that she decided to put surfing aside and spend this week in a spiritual state and she has grown very close to Illuh. They both went for a special full moon ceremony and Veronika happily says that her life has taken a different turn as a result of this powerful meeting and work. She feels lighter, evolved and blissful.
We are inspired by Vernoica’s ability to challenge her beliefs, step out of her comfort zone and absolutely fall in love with something new!
