- Eco cycling tour
Escape the hustle & bustle and discover the magic of rural Bali about an hour north of Seminyak. After being picked up from our villa, breakfast will be enjoyed overlooking Mt. Batur and experiencing some of the most beautiful views in Bali. A short drive after breakfast and you’re off on mountain bikes through the heartland of Bali, traveling downhill on secret back roads and through rural villages. Experience the country side of Ubud and Balinese daily life, cycle through lush forests and Balinese plantations, learn about the medicinal and culturally important uses of local plants, the process of making coffee and many spices and fruits growing in their natural environment. There are numerous stops on the way, including a visit to a Balinese home, a village temple, an enormous Banyan tree and the opportunity to take in stunning rice paddy panoramas.
Lunch is served in the serene surroundings of the rice paddy fields, followed by the option to visit the Monkey Forest temple. Enjoy this full day cultural, ecological, learning & culinary tour!
Pick up at 7am; drop back at the villa around 5pm

- A day at a private beach club
Spend the day at your own private beach club in the Bukit Peninsula, located in the South of Bali. Stare in amazement at the beautiful turquoise Indian Ocean that is the stunning landscape at Finns Beach Club. You will be taken down the sheer drop of the cliff face via inclinator to the beautiful white sandy beach, providing the perfect backdrop for spectacular photo opportunities.
Laze away the day in the sun enjoying the cool tunes, or for the more active, take a kayak or SUP board out for a ride. When the tide pulls low the rock pools and crystal clear lagoon are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, there is plenty of great food choices on offer including an array of healthy juices, colourful cocktails, delicious seafood and fresh salads. Simple, tasty and fresh is their mantra. Finns provides an experience like no other in Bali, be in awe of the beauty and leave relaxed, sun-kissed and dreaming of your return.

For the Water Sports Enthusiasts
- Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP)
If you have never surfed, or it’s been a while since you have, then Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP’ing) could be for you! Forget battling with the white water, with SUP’ing, powering through the waves is a breeze, and with a quick change of foot position you’re surfing like a pro. In your first lesson you will be piloting the board along the coastline and riding rolling waves, or if you prefer a less active approach, you can paddle away from the waves, focusing on core strength, quietening your mind and drinking in the meditative peacefulness that paddling can bring.
- Rash guard, sunscreen, towel, zinc, liquid refreshments

- SUP Yoga
Combining a passion for Yoga with a love of the ocean will bring you closer to your true nature. Set in warm, tropical, clear waters it’s the ideal setting to connect with the ocean whilst carrying out your Yoga practice.

- Light breakfast at 6.30am, Depart Escape Haven at 7am, arrive back to the villa by 10am
- Surf lesson
If you haven’t quite had enough of the waves, add in another surf with our wonderful in-house surf team. Tide and weather dependent, it could be an early morning or a sunset surf session and perhaps you’ll have the chance to experience a beach or break that you have not yet seen.

A 1 hour work out is tailored to meet individual fitness levels in the fresh air within the privacy of our villa grounds, or if you prefer within our air conditioned yoga studio, you choose. Popular with the ladies, Jay’s sense of fun and fab selection of music will have you motivated to burn calories fast and then encourage you to celebrate efforts by relaxing poolside with a cold drink in hand!

- Balinese Healing and Tarot Reading
Choose to have a session with our traditional Balinese healer and Priestess Iluh or our amazing Tarot card reader Szilvia. Both of these sessions will be like nothing you have experienced before. Open your mind and spirit!
A Balian is a traditional Balinese healer. If you read the book or saw the movie, “Eat Pray Love”, you will remember Ketut Liyer, a well known Balian in Ubud.
The book and movie “Eat Pray Love” has turned the spotlight on Balians, (dukuns/shamans) the traditional healers who play an important part in Bali’s culture by treating physical and mental illness, removing spells and channeling information from the ancestors. Travelers to Bali seem to have added a visit to the Balian to their Bali ‘must-do’ lists, right along with snorkeling, a cremation ceremony and a trip to the spa. But a visit to a Balian is a serious matter, not a tourist sideshow. The Balian is an instrument of divine healing, and the client enters a covenant to receive this healing with respect, reverence and humility.
What can you expect when you consult a Balian?
The healer may make magic, use mudrahs, draw patterns on your body and apply scented oils.
Every village has at least four Balians. There are about 8,000 practicing in Bali, which has about four times as many Balians as doctors. They are at the forefront of community health, and Balinese will often visit the Balian before going to a conventional doctor for treatment. The relationship between the two disciplines is interesting. The head of the Balian Association is a medical doctor whose father and grandfather were Balians, and the Hindu University in Denpasar has a faculty of traditional healing. Many Balians will refer a client to a doctor, hospital or pharmacy and doctors may discreetly suggest a visit to a Balian if mainstream medical treatment is not effective.
Expect that it will be an experience and a process, don’t expect to be healed on your way to the airport!
Tarot at the Villa
In most people’s minds, ‘tarot card reading’ means a woman in flowing robes, leaning over a small table in a candlelit room, foretelling impending doom. But that’s not what Tarot cards are about. In fact, they’re not even meant to tell you your fortune or future. The most powerful source of information comes from within; the tarot aids in connecting with one’s Higher Self.
There are two types of readings: question readings and open readings.
In question readings, you are addressing a specific question. Tarot is not intended to be a specific yes or no question, nor is it to be used to make a decision, but should be used as a guide to help you make a decision. For this reason the question stated is very important.
Keep your options open: if you have the answer before the reading, then you’re not allowing the cards to guide your overall decision.
Find the best level of detail: Your question should be focused but not overly detailed. Rather than looking at one particular aspect of a problem, find a way to look at it more broadly.
Focus on yourself: if the reading is for yourself, make sure your question focuses on you rather than on someone else who you think may be the root of your problem.
Stay neutral: In order to stay open to other points of view, your question has to be neutral and not portray a pre-conceived notion that your view is necessarily the right one. The cards can give you guidance if you ask for it.
Be positive: Make sure your question is stated in a positive way rather than in a negative way.
An open reading will address the larger aspects of your life rather than a specific problem are or question. They’re usually done when entering a new phase of life, such as getting married, graduating from college or starting a family.
