Relieve mid-week tension with these basic yoga moves

There’ s nothing like a good supine hip and hamstring sequence to reset any mid-week tension. My ultimate favourite is supine gomukasana (second pic in) – it targets the piriformis, which is one of 6 external rotators that can irritate and inflame the sciatic nerve if you don’t give it enough love. All you need is 10 minutess before bed doing these simples moves. Carry out each of the below for 2 minutes and finish with your legs up the wall (viparita karani) with some mindful breathing, keeping everything nice and soft and liquid, and you’ll be drooling on your pillow in no time!
