Spa treatments actually date back very far in the history of human civilisation, with traditional communities building hammams, bathhouses, saunas, and other facilities that served the purpose of bathing, but were also utilised for their relaxation and beautifying properties. These days, of course, the experience of visiting a spa is very different! Yet the physical, mental and emotional benefits are still similar.
