Bali is famous for its incredible smoothie bowls and they are always a highlight of our retreat breakfast menu! Smoothie bowls are incredibly easy to make and only need a few ingredients to create a healthy and delicious breakfast or snack.
This bowl uses dragonfruit, which is a vibrant tropical fruit in Bali. Along with banana, pineapple and coconut, this is tropical heaven in a bowl!
The pink pitaya (dragonfruit) powder is optional here and terrific if you can’t find fresh dragonfruit. You can also substitute the dragonfruit for a quarter cup of raspberries or strawberries.
Bali Bliss Smoothie Bowl
- 2 large frozen bananas chopped
- ½ dragon fruit sliced
- 1 cup frozen pineapple chopped
- ½ cup coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon pink pitaya powder (optional)
Add all ingredients to your blender and blend until very smooth and creamy. Depending on your blender, you may need to add a little extra coconut milk to get everything moving smoothly.
When ready, pour into a bowl and top with your favourite toppings; granola, coconut, fresh fruit or passionfruit work well.
