The airport code is DPS – Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. We provide complimentary airport transfers to retreat on the first day of the retreat and on the final day of the retreat.
If you are arriving from or departing to other accommodation in Bali, we are able to provide a complimentary transfers to the following local areas only – Seminyak, Kerobokan, Kuta, Legian, Umalas, Petitengit and Canggu.
For guest arrivals and departures outside our transfer times and range, it will be necessary to organize your individual transport to or from the retreat at your own expense, which can range from $30 – $45 USD approx.
Typically, our guests range in age from mid 20’s – to late 40’s or early 50’s. However, we have had many younger and older guests visit that have loved their time here also. What unites guests at Escape Haven surf and yoga retreat is not so much their age or nationality; but rather, their fun loving attitude and spirit for adventure and the wisdom they share.
About 70% of our guests are solo travellers. Most of our guests make firm friends, staying in touch long after their surf and yoga retreat finishes. Escape Haven Bali is a safe and ideal place to stay as a solo woman traveller.
At Escape Haven we feel very lucky to welcome women from all around the world who are diverse and unique in many ways. Our guests come from all walks of life, and differ in age, nationality, size, and have different backgrounds and goals. We do all we can do foster an inclusive environment so that no one feels out of place in any way. We respect our guests religions and understand that some ladies may wear a veil. We want to just make it clear that while we are a women’s retreat (with only female guests) we do have male butlers, house keepers, drivers, gardeners, security and surf instructors. Our spa team are all female and our main retreat hosts are also female, yet it is not 100% a female- only environment. This may need to be taken into consideration for some of our guests depending on their religion. Please ensure that we go above and beyond to help every single guest feel welcomed, nurtured and right at home.
As this is an all-inclusive Bali retreat, the only things you will need to pay for are any incidentals (such as alcoholic drinks, phone calls, extra specialized treatments or services) and the 2 meals not included where you get to explore some of the fabulous restaurants nearby.
If you wish to do any optional extra activities or go shopping while staying at Escape Haven Bali, there are plenty of ATMs available nearby, where you may withdraw money and we also accept paypal.
Yes, guests must be 18 years or older to attend Escape Haven Bali unless otherwise agreed to by management and under supervision of a guardian.
